Brad Delson and Mike Shinoda went to the same high school called Agoura High
school.He played in various bands in the high school he went to. Later he meet Rod Bourdon who is a drummer. When he finished his graduation in 1995, Delson, Shinoda, and Bourdon formed Xero, who later started the begging of Linkin Park. Delson entered UCLA in 1995. He was a member of Phi Beta Kapp. He shared a dorm with Dave Farrell, who later becomes another member of Linkin Park. He shared the dorm with him for three out of four years at school. Delson later showed Jeff Blue his talents. Later Blue introduced Chester Bennington to Delson who later became the lead singer of Linkin Park.
